Sony Camera Remote SDK Version 1.06 – Adds Compatibility for FX6, FX3, and FX30

Sony has just introduced version 1.06 of its Camera Remote Software Development Kit. It adds compatibility for selected Sony Cinema Line cameras and brings new features for drone applications. Sony’s popular Cinema Line of cameras recently grew with the introduction of the FX30, and so did the number of creative possibilities offered by this extremely capable family of imaging products. To fully exploit the potential of their cameras, Sony allows third parties to access its Camera Remote SDK. This enables software developers to code tailor-made apps for a series of applications, ranging from imaging to aerial work. So let’s take a closer look at what’s new with Version 1.06. Sony FX30. Image credit: CineD Sony Camera Remote SDK Version 1.06: overview  The list of cameras supported by Sony Camera Remote already includes many popular mirrorless models, such as the A1, A9 Mark II, A7 IV, A7r IV, A7C, and the low-light king, the Sony A7s III. With this 1.06 update, the Sony Cinema Line FX6, FX3, and FX30 cameras join their Alpha Series siblings. Furthermore, up to five Sony FX6 units can now be controlled in parallel and users can access basic camera control functions through the Content Mobile Browser application.
